THE BIRTH OF THE BUG!
‘After Jeanette and I volunteering together and developing a friendship we felt that our skills gelled together well and could possibly form some sort of enterprise around the themes of community, children, creativity and personal development. We started running Saturday craft classes for children in a local community hall and then moved into schools to facilitate after school workshops. Then we expanded to parties, then adult workshops and so on. We had no business experience, just a passion to make a difference in peoples lives.
We love Doodlebugs being a Community Interest Company due to its give back nature. Company profits are distributed to social enterprises and charities. Doodlebugs also sponsors a child through Compassion International and facilitate many good will workshops throughout the year’.(Tara)
